Abhishek Verma joins Intercell as CMO

Intercell – Virtual Mentor Network has announced the appointment of Abhishek Verma as chief marketing officer. 
 
Verma moves from Plan B Communications, where he was head - digital. He joined Intercell as a consultant in June 2021 before being appointed as CMO this year.   
 
He said, “I am very excited to be joining the Intercell team. I believe Intercell has a great business model and talented management team that uniquely positions it to capitalise on the changing industry. Mentoring services are the need of the hour and I look forward to working with the leadership to craft a narrative for the brand and drive the next phase of growth."
 
Arunabh Varma, CEO, Intercell, said, “We are delighted to have Abhishek join our leadership team and direct the marketing function towards our next phase of growth. His diverse expertise in building brands will be pivotal to our plans.”
 
In a career spanning more than two decades he has also worked with Freemont Digital Solutions, Adfactors, Star TV and Sony Entertainment Television.
 
Intercell is an ed-tech start-up that has recently received an investment from actor Sonu Sood.
