AAAI elections: nominations closed

Consequent to Colvyn Harris' term as president of the Advertising Agencies Association of India ending on July 31, elections to the post will be held on July 30, Sudesh Kapoor of the AAAI confirmed today.

Nominations for the post have been received, with the closing of nominations being 10.00 am this morning. An executive committee meeting, to be held later this evening, will scrutinise the nominations and announce the candidates.

Unlike the 'tradition' of consensus deciding the president of the AAAI, this year is expected to see a battle between Dentsu India's chairman Sandeep Goyal (pictured left) and Interface Communications' executive director Nagesh Alai (pictured right).
