Weekend Fun: Mother’s Day special

Watch a selection of campaigns foe the special day here

With Mother’s Day around the corner, we look at some initiatives around the country made in honour of the occasion.

Maggi (above)

Carrying forward its #MomKnowsBest campaign, Maggi has released a special video conceptualised by Publicis India, involving puppets and the voice of Shankar Mahadevan. The video looks at closeness between mother and child.

Mother by Choice

Little Kangaroos has also rolled out a film that salutes the tireless dedication and love mothers have for their children. The film showcases three mothers who talk about the aspiration they have for their differently abled children.

TaxiForSure

Taxi for Sure is running a digital campaign encouraging people to share their favourite childhood memories involving their mothers using #MemoriesForSure, between 7 and 9 May, with some prizes on offer.

Archies

Archies punches everyone on the gut, with a reminder to help those mothers who haven’t been as fortunate as the rest of us. The film has been created by independent brand associate, Vishal Sharma.

CouponDunia

With the help of Eccentric Engine, CouponDunia asks whether we reciprocate the love our mothers shower upon us. The site encourages visitors to treat their mothers this year.
