Weekend Fun: Happy Children’s Day

Catch up on the chatter around the day

Children’s Day is here and with it a bout of nostalgia as the ‘adults’ amongst us vow to never let their inner child grow up. The social media is abuzz with the day’s greetings being exchanged by one and all. 
 
We take a look at some of the efforts to honor the day. 
 
Paper Boat rolled out an short film made in-house to mark the day. The film is titled, 'When i grow up'.

9XM | Happy Children’s Day

Brands leveraged the opportunity to engage with their audiences by hosting contests, conversations on their social media profiles. 
 
Shopper’s Stop announced a contest identified by #BringBackTheKid. 
 
eBay India had its own thing going on with the #BachchaHaiKya contest.
 
Parle Products chose to interact with and engage with children through their initiative titled ‘Padhte raho, badhte raho’. The children belonged to the Angel Xpress Foundation, an NGO for underprivileged children, at Mithibai College in Mumbai.
