Times Global names Sunil Lulla as MD, CEO; Chinta is VC
Sunil Lulla (pictured), CEO, Real Broadcasting is joining Times Global Broadcasting as managing director and CEO, and will be taking charge from Chintamani Rao, CEO, Times Global Broadcasting Company Limited. Rao is moving to a non-operational role within the company as vice chairman. A company statement says Rao will “play a mentoring and strategic role for all the television businesses of Bennett, Coleman & Company Limited and would also focus on development of new Private Treaties Partners.” Rao is relocating to New Delhi this month.
Lowe bags mandate for TGBL's business channel ET NOW
Lowe Lintas has been named as the creative agency of record for ET NOW, the business news channel from Times Global Broadcasting. The announcement of the name for the channel was made at the Economic Times Award for Corporate Excellence.The agency won the business after a multi-agency pitch. Sources close to the development confirmed the news to Campaign India.Lodestar Universal will be handling the media duties of the yet to be launched channel.
Mirchi’s Chandra moves to Times Now
Naveen Chandra, executive VP and national sales head, Radio Mirchi has moved within the Bennett & Coleman group to their news television business, Times Global Broadcasting Ltd (TGBL). Chandra (pictured) is set to join Times Now as head, strategy, new initiatives and will be looking at expanding the channel’s portfolio going forward.
