Commercial Bank of Ceylon has appointed Madison Sri Lanka as its media agency of record, after a multi-agency pitch that also involved Ogilvy & Mather, Lowe and Starcom. Sam Balsara, chairman and managing director of Madison World, said, “We are delighted that the No. 1 bank of Sri Lanka has chosen Madison Media to be its partner, and am sure Madison Media will be able to add a lot of strategic value to Commercial Bank of Ceylon to achieve its business objectives.”
RK Swamy BBDO wins Rage Mobile account
RK Swamy BBDO and Media Direction have been mandated for Rage Mobile's creative and media planning business respectively, in a multi-agency pitch. Rage Mobile is a handset manufacturer which has been present in the market with a strong hold in the north and west but has steadily been looking to increase its national footprint in the country.
