This announcement comes amid the company's completion of two decades into existence in a country where gaming is undergoing a major overhaul.

The company states that this shift furthers its efforts to build immersive experiences and next generation gaming worlds.

What is the reinvention all about?

Nazara Technologies is now positioning itself as a 'renewed promise' to build an ecosystem that inspire, connect, and entertain, emphasising a focus on creativity and community belonging for players.

"Nazara began with a dream to create meaningful experiences for gamers and creators. Over the last 25 years, that dream has grown into India's largest gaming ecosystem, powered by thousands of passionate minds and millions of players. Our new identity reflects both our journey and our future. 'Enter. Magic.' is an invitation to step into worlds where imagination leads, and play brings people together. This is the beginning of our next chapter", said Nitish Mittersain, CEO and MD, Nazara Technologies in a statement.

The redesign features a new 'N' symbol shaped like a magic wand to represent the spark of an idea, and rising stars to symbolise creation, connection, and the infinite worlds the company plans to build.

Additionally, the company has introduced a new tagline "Enter. Magic." as an invitation to its new chapter.

The rebrand marks a strategic shift toward building global standard original intellectual property (IP), strengthening community engagement, supporting game creators, and expanding its international footprint.

The move reflects the company's evolution from a gaming platform into a major creator in the expanding Indian gaming ecosystem.

In recent days, gaming companies have seen stringent action with the new gaming bill put in place causing them to reimagine their ways of engaging with the audience. Nazara's rebranding comes just days after this change of treatment with the industry. This shows that the company is working towards rebuilding trust with the audience despite seeing a difficult regulatory landscape.
