ASCI uphelds complains against 130
 
In April 2017, ASCI’s Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) upheld complaints against 130 of the 199 advertisements it received complaints against. 
 
73 of these belonged to the healthcare category, 30 to education, 13 to Food & Beverages category, four in Telecommunication and three in personal care. Seven advertisements came from other categories.
 
AutumnWinter Communications and Design bags Sonari, Dazzle
 
AutumnWinter Communications and Design has bagged the creative mandate for Sonari and Dazzle, two lingerie brands under Shailibhadra Creations.
 
The businesses were won without a pitch. 
 
Hudson Canola Oil appoints Bottle Openers 
 
Hudson Canola Oil,  a brand owned by  Dalmia Continental, has announced the appointment of Bottle Openers as its digital agency on record. The mandate covers overall digital and social strategy, media planning and buying.  
 
BTVi ropes in Shilpa Shetty and Seema Pisharody 
 
Business channel, BTVi, has announced the appointment of Shilpa Shetty and Seema Pisharody. The duo will jointly work towards revenue generation for the channel. 
 
Shetty moves from Times Network where she was VP - revenue and was  the national sales head for the Times Network cluster of channels across verticals. Shilpa was also associated with the Network18 group for 10 years.
 
Pisharody joins from CNN IBN where she was head of branded content for South India.
 
GreenCheese bags Dainik Jagran's Inext and Isckon's PR duties
 
GreenCheese has won the PR mandate for Dainik Jagran Inext and Isckon Food Relief Foundation Haryana Chapter to its portfolio. The accounts were won post a multi-agency pitch and will he handled from the Gurgaon office. Lovejeet Alexander, the lead strategist at GreenCheese will handle the accounts.
 
H+K Strategies to handle Unisys' PR
 
Unisys India, an information technology company, has awarded its India PR mandate to Hill+Knowlton Strategies.
 
Unisys has 5,000 employees and in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. It provides a portfolio of technology services and support in delivering security solutions for businesses and industries worldwide. The agency has been mandated with the task of crafting critical and media-relevant messaging for Unisys in India and enhancing its brand image through creative communication campaigns.  
 
Vedanta ropes in Sujit Patil as head - corporate communications
 
Vedanta, a natural resources company, has announced the appointment of Sujit Patil as head of corporate communications. Patil will lead internal and external communication including branding, media management, social media, public relations and advocacy. He moves from Godrej where he was VP and head of corporate communications.
