ASCI uphelds complaints against 117
 
In May 2017, ASCI’s Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) upheld complaints against 117 of the 154 advertisements it received. 
 
39 of these belonged to the healthcare category. 33 belonged to education category, followed by eight each in personal care and telecommunication. Six complains were upheld in the F&B category and five belonged to E-commerce. 18 advertisements belonged to other categories.
 
Comio appoints August Communications and PPR South Asia
 
Comio, a smartphone manufacturer has announced its communications partners for India. The company's creative and digital mandate will be handled by August Communications while PPR South Asia will handle the PR duties. 
 
Matchbox Media wins Richfeel
 
Matchbox Media has bagged the media duties of Richfeel. Matchbox is the media arm of ITW Playworx. The agency bagged the business following a multi-agency pitch. The mandate includes media planning and buying across platforms with a focus on performance marketing. 
 
InCred gets Rahul Dravid
 
InCred, a Mumbai-based financial services group, has appointed Rahul Dravid, as its brand ambassador. The company began its lending operations in January this year and gives loans in four categories – housing loans, consumer loans, education loans and SME loans.
 
Performics.Convonix bags Aditya Birla Health Insurance's SEO mandate
 
Aditya Birla Health Insurance has appointed Performics.Convonix as its SEO agency. Performics.Convonix is the digital solutions company under Starcom India.
 
JCDecaux to handle The Collection - UB City
 
JCDecaux has entered the mall-advertising segment in India by bagging rights for advertising at The Collection, UB City in Bengaluru.
