Adidas ropes in Saiyami Kher
                                               
Adidas India has announced its collaboration with Bollywood actress Saiyami Kher. The association will be kicked-off through a global launch in San-Francisco this week, according to a company statement.
 
“She brings authenticity and motivation to every young woman and genuinely believes that empowerment must begin with one’s self. We believe that this message is the single-most important take away for the young women who look up to her and wish to kick-start their own journey to fitness and betterment through running,” said Sunil Gupta, business unit head, running, Adidas India.
 
Indian Express Group begins regional language expansion
 
The Indian Express Digital started its expansion into regional language portals with ieMalayalam.com operating out of Kerala.
 
ieMalayalam.com, to begin with, will be an ad-free platform.
 
Sandeep Amar, CEO, Indian Express Digital said, “Malayalam is one of the most mature news markets in the country and we are all geared up to deliver the best for the Malayalam users by curating the best voices from across the state and abroad.”  
 
The Indian Express Group, is the 2nd largest English newspaper website. With the launch of ieMalayalam.com -- Indian Express aims to take a leadership position in Kerala's local language digital news market as well.   
 
Zee Entertainment expands its presence in Africa
 
Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL) has announced the launch of two new channels, Zee Bollymovies and Zee Bollynova which will broadcast on Africa’s new pay-TV network Kwesé TV.
The network promises ‘Bollywood Magic’ through Zee Bollymovies while Zee Bollynova promises to create ‘Memorable Moments’ with its offering of a fusion of general entertainment programming, telenovelas and food shows.
 
Carrera announced Ranveer Singh as brand ambassador
 
Carrera, the worldwide lifestyle and sports eyewear brand announced Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh as the brand ambassador for India. Singh's sense of style and attitude perfectly blends with the brand’s image, said a company statement.
 
Kyriakos Kofinas, managing director, Carrera IMEA region, said, “His infectious energy and distinct winning attitude are the perfect qualities that embody the brand’s values. Ranveer enjoys a huge fan following amongst the Indian audiences and is also very popular in the Middle East region which is key in contributing magic for our brand.”
