ASCI upheld 208 ads in January
During the month of January 2020, ASCI investigated complaints against 342 advertisements, of which 110 advertisements were promptly withdrawn by the advertisers after the communication from ASCI. 
 
The independent Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) of ASCI evaluated remaining 232 advertisements, of which complaints against 208 advertisements were upheld. 83 belonged to the education sector, 64 belonged to healthcare, eight to personal care, seven belonged to real estate, five to the food and beverages sector, and 41 were from the ‘others’ category.
 
Cars24 gets Abhishek Mudgal
Abhishek Mudgal has joined Cars24 as brand manager, digital. Mudgal will be leading social media for the used car selling and buying platform. He was previously with Cheil Worldwide India.
 
Pratik Bhivagaje joins ShortsTV 
ShortsTV, a 24/7 channel dedicated to short films, has appointed Pratik Bhivagaje as partnership and marketing manager for South Asia. He moves from Tata Sky where he was content manager.
 
TheSmallBigIdea to handle Zee Punjabi, Zee Bispoke
TheSmallBigIdea has won the digital mandate of ZEE Punjabi and ZEE Biskope post multi-agency pitches. Zee Punjabi is a Punjabi GEC, while ZEE Biskope is a Bhojpuri movie channel. The agency will be handling the social media presence for the channels.
 
W+K creates game for Indigo
 
On the occasion of World Pilot's Day (26 April), Wieden + Kennedy's Delhi office created a game for IndiGo. The agency used blink-triggering, facial recognition technology for the game which was integrated into IndiGo's social platforms.
