There are plenty of options for all this weekend, with events around the country and action on television to keep one busy.
One normally doesn’t need a reason to visit Goa. But if you’re the kind who’s looking for one, there’s the India Bike Week this weekend. Pentagram, The Other People, Bombay Bassment and Blek are some of the bands that are performing at the event.
For wine and music lovers, there’s the Sulafest 2013 at Sula Vineyards in Nashik. The venue will be open for 10 hours each on Saturday and Sunday.

Moving from music to sport. This weekend we have the Pepsi IPL auctions, Super Bowl finale and the Barclays Premier League.
The IPL auction will take place on Sunday. The big names in this season’s auctions will be Ricky Ponting and Michael Clarke as the duo have made themselves available for the IPL. Indian players who could attract huge bids are Abhishek Nayar and Rudra Pratap Singh. Catch the auctions on Sony Six from 10:45 am onwards.
Later on Sunday, the champions of the Barclays Premier League, Manchester City, take on Liverpool in the big match of the weekend. The game kicks off at 9:30 pm, live on ESPN.
For adlanders across the world, there’s Super Bowl. While the game between Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers begins only in the early hours of Monday morning (IST), brands have started rolling out their advertisements for the big ticket event online.
