UTVi’s Arun Anant puts in his papers

UTVi’s chief executive officer has called it quits. Shantonu Aditya who is the executive director of four UTV channels will replace Anant. Anant’s next destination is not known yet.  He joined UTVi in November 2007 from Economic Times where he was vice president.

UTVi’s chief executive officer has called it quits. Shantonu Aditya who is the executive director of four UTV channels will replace Anant. Anant’s next destination is not known yet.  He joined UTVi in November 2007 from Economic Times where he was vice president.
With the launch of UTVi, UTV has total five channels within the UTV Network including Bindass, Bindass Movies, UTv Movies and World Movies. According to sources, Ronnie Screwvala, CEO, UTV is looking at opportunities for integration and synergy across the network. With Shantonu Aditya taking additional charge at UTVi, Screwvala wants to bring the entire broadcasting portfolio under one remit.
