Update on Aircel media business

Some clarifications on the news item filed yesterday.Yesterday's report suggested that the entire media planning and buying business of Aircel had moved to Dentsu Media.We would like to clarify that though some business has moved to Dentsu Media, there is a lack of clarity on the specific businesses that have moved and it is clear that Starcom continues to handle a significant part of the business.

Some clarifications on the news item filed yesterday.

Yesterday's report suggested that the entire media planning and buying business of Aircel had moved to Dentsu Media.

We would like to clarify that though some business has moved to Dentsu Media, there is a lack of clarity on the specific businesses that have moved and it is clear that Starcom continues to handle a significant part of the business.
 
Campaign India spoke to Rahul Saigal, chief marketing officer, Aircel, who refused to comment on what he termed 'media speculation'.
