TVS Motor Company and Jaypee Group tie up with Deccan Chargers

 

TVS Motor Company and the Jaypee Group have tied up with the Deccan Chargers for the fifth season of the Indian Premier League.
 
Commenting on their tie-up with Deccan Chargers, H S Goindi, president, marketing, TVS Motor Company, said, “Cricket has become a sport with global appeal that promotes hard work, commitment, competition and excellence, values which we also share. We are proud to support a team that is dedicated to cultivating the next generation cricketers and look forward to a great relationship with one of IPL’s top squads.”
 
Commenting on Jaypee Group's association with the team, Rahul Kumar, director and chief financial officer, Jaiprakash Associates, "Our Group’s flagship brand 'Jaypee Cement' has always been known for its solidity and credibility – qualities that are present in the Deccan Chargers as well. We are very happy to forge this solid partnership and wish the Deccan Chargers team the very best in IPL-5."
 
On both the tie-ups, E.Venkat Reddy, chief operating officer, Deccan Chargers said, "We are very happy to associate with TVS Motor Company, one of India’s leading two wheeler manufacturers as co-sponsor for IPL 2012 season. TVS stands for indigeneity, innovation, precision, reliability and development. Deccan Chargers connects with the same beliefs." 
 
He added, "We are very happy to associate with Jaypee Group, a leading prestigious infrastructural industrial conglomerate in India as co-sponsor for IPL 2012 season.  We were associated with Jaypee for the inaugural IPL season and are pleased to have them back aboard Deccan Chargers."
