Spikes Asia 2022: 101 shortlists from India
The organisers of Spikes Asia 2022 have announced 625 shortlists across categories. India was second on the shortlist tally with a total of 101 entries.
 
Leading the way was Dentsu Webchutney with 32 shortlists, followed by DDB Mudra with 22. McCann India was a distant third with six.
 
Brand Experience and Activation 
 
In the 'Brand Experience and Activation' category India had eight shortlists. 
 
DDB Mudra has four of them - two each for Netflix (Red Notice Shop) and McDonald's (EatQual).
 
Dentsu Webchutney has three shortlists for Vice World News' 'The Unfiltered History Tour'. 
 
McCann Worldgroup India gets the other shortlist for Wild Stone's 'Statue Grooming'. 
 
Creative e-Commerce
 
Wunderman Thompson got two shortlists in this category. They came for Facebook's 'Small Business Success Story'.
 
Design 
 
DDB Mudra and Dentsu Webchutney got two shortlists each in this category. DDB Mudra's shortlists were for 'EatQual' for McDonald's and Dentsu Webchutney's shortlists were for Vice World News' 'The Unfiltered History Tour'.
 
Direct 
 
Indian agencies earned a total of 11 shortlists in this category.
 
Dentsu Webchutney got seven of them - a tally which consisted of three each for Tinder's 'Axe your ex' and Vice World News' 'The Unfiltered History Tour' and one for Swiggy Instamart's 'The Better Half Recipes'.
 
DDB Mudra got a total of three shortlists in this category. Two were for Netflix's 'Red Notice Shop' and one for McDonald's (EatQual).
 
Saatchi and Saatchi Propagate got the other shortlist in this category. It was for Budweiser's 'SOS Ads'.
 
Entertainment 
 
Three Indian entries from three different entrants made the shortlist in this category.
 
AutumnGrey's 'Pause the Bargain' for Axis Bank, Byju's Masterji and Creativeland Asia's entry for Money Heist season 5 are in the running for a metal.  
 
Film 
 
Out of the nine shortlists for India in this category, DDB Mudra has five. All the shortlists for the agency came for Battleground Mobile India's 'Machine Gun Mouth'.
 
Publicis' Singapore office's work for Vicks 'Care Lives On' also has two shortlists. 
 
Byju's (Masterji) and TBWA\ India (IDFC MF) have a shortlist each in this category. 
 
Film Craft 
 
Thirteen Indian entries made the cut in this category. 
 
Five of these were for Memesys Culture Lab for Vicks' '#TouchofCare'. 
 
Byju's 'Masterji' got three shortlists in this category.
 
Early Man India had two for its entry 'Game Responsibly' for Battlegrounds Mobile India. 
 
Chrome Pictures (Dove - #StopTheBeautyTest), Good Morning (UN Aids - The Mirror) and Wunderman Thompson (Vidya Helpline for Women - The Hidden Truth) have a shortlist each. 
 
Glass 
 
India got three of the six shortlists in this category.
 
DDB Mudra (Stayfree - Daughter's Day), FCB India (The Times of India - The Nominate Me Selfie) and Wunderman Thompson (Sunlaap - The Lost Daughters) got a shortlist each.
 
Healthcare
 
McCann Worldgroup India has two shortlists - one each for Prime Indian Hospitals (Snake) and Nightingales Medical Trust (Memorables).
 
DDB Mudra has one for Stayfree's 'Daughter's Day'.
 
Industry Craft 
 
DDB Mudra added to its tally with one shortlist for entry titled 'EatQual' for McDonald's. 
 
Media 
 
Dentsu Webchutney earned two shortlists for Vice World News' 'The Unfiltered History Tour' in this category. 
 
Saatchi & Saatchi Propagate's 'SOS Ads' for Budweiser was also shortlisted.
 
Mobile
 
Indian agencies earned a total of seven shortlists in this category. Six were for Dentsu Webchutney's 'The Unfiltered History Tour' for Vice World News. 
 
The other shortlist was for FCB India's 'The Nominate Me Selfie' for The Times of India. 
 
Music 
 
Creativeland Asia got all three shortlists for India in this category for the entry titled 'Money Heist Season 5' for Netflix.

Outdoor 

McCann Worldgroup got three shortlists for its campaign for Prime Indian Hospitals - one each for its entry 'Tiger', 'Snake' and 'Shield'.
 
DDB Mudra earned a shortlist for Netflix's 'Red Notice Shop'.

Dentsu Webchutney's 'The Unfiltered History Tour' for Vice World News got three shortlists in this category. 
 
Bennett, Coleman and Co's 'Lost Votes' and Lowe Lintas' 'H for Handwashing' (Lifebuoy) got two shortlists each. 
 
BBDO India's  '#ShareTheLoad Long Term' for Ariel and DDB Mudra's 'EatQual' for McDonald's got a shortlist each.
