Ranjeev Vij quits TBWA\India

Vij joined TBWA\India as the managing director of Nissan United 3.0 in March 2023, where he led integrated mandates for several key brands.

Ranjeev Vij, the executive director at TBWA\India and managing director of Nissan United, has called it a day at TBWA\India. His last day at the agency will be May 2, 2025.

During his stint at TBWA\India, Vij led integrated mandates across advertising, digital, and media for brands including Nissan, Air India Express, Philips, and Eicher Motors. He led the launch of the Nissan facelift, which later won multiple awards at the E4M Auto Marketing Awards, including a Gold for ‘Best Integrated Marketing Campaign’ and a Silver for ‘Best Product Launch Campaign’.

Seen as one of India’s top marketing strategists, Vij has over 25 years of experience across global advertising networks, consultancies, and digital-first companies. Before joining TBWA\India, he held senior roles at Ogilvy, McCann, BBDO, Zeno, Cognizant, and Adfactors PR.

Vij joined TBWA\India as the managing director of Nissan United 3.0 in March 2023, where he led integrated mandates for key brands. Before this, he worked as a managing partner at Ogilvy Delhi since 2019. In 2016, Zeno Group India appointed him as the head of digital innovation and strategy. Before joining Zeno, he worked at BBDO India.

During his tenure at BBDO, he launched Proximity, BBDO’s CRM and digital arm Proximity in India. He is credited with setting up Cognizant’s digital marketing practice in the UK. At Adfactors PR, he scaled the firm’s digital capability.

His next move has not been disclosed so far.
