Rakesh Gopal is the latest appointment at Mogae Media as he joins the agency as senior vice president. Prior to joining Mogae Media, Gopal was with Mail Today.
Commenting on Gopal's appointment, Tanya Goyal, executive director, Mogae Media, said, "Gopal is a matured professional with a very good client outreach. He will be one of the leaders for Mogae in monetising mobile as medium."
On his move to Mogae, Gopal said, "I have spent two decades in media sales, largely in print. I see mobile as the new game-changer in the media business and this is why I am here to evangelise a new catalyst of change."
In a career spanning more than 20 years Gopal has also had stints were with The Pioneer, The Hindustan Times and DNA.
Mogae Media is the new venture of veteran ad-man Sandeep Goyal focused on mobile monetisation.
