Priya Mukherjee joins India TV as group president - network development
India TV has announced the appointment of Priya Mukherjee as group president - network development. 
 
Mukherjee's mandate is to drive growth for distribution in India and internationally for linear TV and OTT.  She will report to Vinay Maheshwari, group CEO, India TV.
 
She moves from Republic TV, where she was COO - distribution international revenue and OTT.
 
Maheshwari said, “We are glad to have Priya on board. I am sure her rich experience of managing distribution will help India TV scale new heights.”
 
Ritu Dhawan, MD, India TV, said, "Priya brings to her position a series of stellar achievements and rich industry experience, which will further help us move strongly towards achieving our mission and creating new industry benchmarks.
 
In a career spanning 23 years, she has also worked with Discovery Channel, Sony Entertainment Television, Network 18, Den Networks and GTPL.
