Prasoon Joshi is in; Goafest gets bigger

Prasoon Joshi, executive chairman and regional executive creative director, McCann Erickson Asia Pacific, confirmed to Campaign India that McCann would, after all, be taking part in Goafest. Joshi confirmed that McCann would both, enter the Abbys and send delegates to Goafest. However Joshi said that the number of entries and delegates would be limited, thanks to the fiscal prudence dictated by the economic slowdown. With McCann’s confirmation, all the top agencies, barring Lowe, are supporting the Goafest, putting to rest all talks of disunity.

Even in Lowe’s case, while they may not send entries to the Abbys, the Goafest committee is confident that Lowe would participate in other aspects of the three day festival.
