Pick of the Week: The Hindu's Reader's Editor

Objective self-criticism of the newspaper's coverage of TN elections 2016 is worth applauding

Pick of the Week: The Hindu's Reader's Editor

In a media universe where chest-beating and 'We told you so' follows every election result, this one was a refreshing change.

It's not that the 'Reader's Editor' segment is new to this newspaper. But an objective and self-critical analysis is rare, especially around news events like democratic elections. That's what makes this special.

Congratulations to the editor Paneerselvam, and the newspaper that allows him to do his job.
