Commenting on the launch, Mr. Viraj Malik, MD, Percept Knorigin said, "Entertainment has emerged as the biggest category of content consumed on the internet. Cinecurry caters to the popular genres of cinema watched in India and provides a unique community setting with the right content. Unlike most UGC platforms, Cinecurry provides an excellent platform to content owners to use the platform for monetizing the content in a transparent way. This is one of the many properties we are planning to launch in 2009".

Percept also plans to create gaming and mobile channels for the website in the near future.
