Dundh to announce own venture in media space by January 2013; no replacement named yet at Hungama Digital Entertainment

Niloufer Dundh to move from Hungama

Niloufer Dundh, head - integrated media, Hungama Digital Media Entertainment, has put in her papers. While confirming the development, Dundh noted that she her three years and four months-stint has been the longest with any company in India. She is currently serving her notice period, and Hungama Digital has not announced a replacement as on date.

“After my 19-year long career, I felt that I should take a small break before embarking on a new journey of starting something on my own. All along I have been in the media business, and the new venture will be in the same space. I will announce further plans in January 2013,” she added. 

Talking about her stint at Hungama, Dundh said, “It was a fabulous experience working here, as the working culture allows you to be entrepreneurial. There was so much of learning in digital, social media, applications development and now, mobility. I am really happy that I got this opportunity, and fortunate that I joined them at the right time, when there was newness about the medium.”

It is understood that Siddhartha Roy, chief operating office for consumer business and allied services, Hungama, will be working with Dundh’s team until a replacement is announced.

Dundh has served in various capacities at Radio Mirchi, Hungama TV, UTV and OOH Media, before joining Hungama.
