Next Creative Leaders 2021: Pooja Manek among winners
Winners of the Next Creative Leaders 2021, run jointly by The One Club for Creativity and The 3% Movement, have been announced.

Representing India on the list is Pooja Manek, creative director, dentsu Webchutney Bengaluru.

Next Creative Leaders (NCL) is a portfolio competition that identifies, celebrates and gives a global platform to women who are making their mark on the world stage with both their work and a unique point of view on creative leadership that’s changing the industry for the better.

The announcement was made at the opening day of the 10th annual 3% Conference in Atlanta.

Kevin Swanepoel, CEO, The One Club, said, "The One Club has a long-standing commitment to providing programming that helps improve the industry's diversity and gender equality. We are proud to produce programs like Next Creative Leaders that identify, elevate and give a voice to those who are making a real difference. They are the ones who are opening the door and inspiring the next generation of women and non-binary creatives who follow in their footsteps.”

Kat Gordon, founder, The 3% Movement, said, "Many of our winners spoke to a desire to help our industry to evolve in a way that made space for mental health care in the wake of burnout and the pandemic. Globally, women still see sexism as the root of most global issues that are worth solving. Winners shared how this award helped validate that they were becoming the leaders they wanted when they were coming up. We’re also celebrating how this year took us over the 100-winner mark historically for NCL.”
