Netflix’s content director for South East Asia and Australia, Myleeta Aga, has quit the company. She had joined Netflix in December 2019. Before this stint, she was the senior vice president and general manager for South East Asia and India at BBC Worldwide, an organisation where she spent over 10 years. She is based in Singapore.

Apart from Netflix and BBC, Aga has also worked with Sony BBC Earth, Radio One and Discovery Communications among others.

Reports claim that Netflix will now pass over content planning in the region to Kim Minyoung in Seoul, following a re-jig of the South East Asia and Australia content teams.
