Mudra names Joydeep Dasgupta as Chennai head

Mudra Chennai has named Joydeep Dasgupta (pictured) as its new head. In his new role, Dasgupta will focus on inorganic growth, talent management and the creative productBefore this, Dasgupta was VP at Mudra Mumbai and handled brands such as Union Bank, Bank of Baroda and Future Group. Dasgupta has over 14 years of experience in the industry. He has worked for agencies such as Advertising Avenues and JWT. He has worked on brands including LIC, Onida, Philips, Reliance Infocomm, Godrej, Sunsilk, HSBC, State Bank of India, Kinetic scooters and Air India.

Before this, Dasgupta was VP at Mudra Mumbai and handled brands such as Union Bank, Bank of Baroda and Future Group. Dasgupta has over 14 years of experience in the industry. Commenting on the appointment, Jude Fernandes, ED, Mudra Group said, “During his long, fruitful stint with Mudra Mumbai, Joydeep played a key role in managing some critical accounts. His success on these brands, knowledge of the business and varied experience make him a fitting candidate to take up the prestigious Mudra Chennai assignment for us.”
