MTV, Force India partner for new reality series

Force India has announced its partnership with MTV for a new reality show, titled 'MTV Force India The Fast and the Gorgeous'. The show is a hunt for speed divas for India's F1 team. The show was announced by Dr. Vijay Mallya and actress Deepika Padukone.

Force India has announced its partnership with MTV for a new reality show, titled 'MTV Force India The Fast and the Gorgeous'. The show is a hunt for speed divas for India's F1 team. The show was announced by Dr. Vijay Mallya and actress Deepika Padukone.

Speaking on the launch, Dr. Mallya said, "Force India epitomizes the young and young at heart of the country and is India's first truly global foray at the pinnacle of sport. Force India combines aspiration, glamour and excellence in a heady blend. In our effort to reach out to the millions of young Indians who constitute the force of New India, we are proud to partner with MTV and present India's most innovative reality show, The Fast and The Gorgeous."

Said Ashish Patil, GM and senior vice president creative & content, MTV India said, "Youth today love speed and an adrenaline rush. Formula 1 is a sport that delivers that and how! MTV's always been the first off the block to give its audience what it wants. We're proud to join hands with Force India to announce our hottest new reality series 'MTV Force India The Fast and the Gorgeous'.

Interested girls can log on to the specially created microsite www.mtvindia.com/fastandgorgeous to register. The auditions that will follow, will shortlist 20 girls. The auditions will entirely be conducted on the website. Four girls will then be selected from the shortlisted candidates, who will be chosen as the speed divas for the Force India team. The four chosen girls will also feature on the Force India calendar that will be shot by Atul Kasbekar. The final winner of the series will land a role in the next film by the Percept Picture Company.

The show is slated to go on air by the end of April and will be hosted by MTV VJ Rannvijay.
