MMTC-PAMP, India’s only LBMA-accredited gold and silver refiner, has announced the appointment of Gaurav Nijhawan as head of marketing. The appointment strengthens the company’s leadership as it continues to expand its presence across physical and digital platforms.

In his new role, Nijhawan will oversee the integrated marketing function at MMTC-PAMP. His remit includes marketing and communications, brand building, customer experience and new product development. He will also be responsible for driving innovation and contributing to the company’s growth strategy across physical formats and digital channels, including retail stores. The role positions marketing as a central function supporting business expansion, consumer engagement and long-term brand development.

Commenting on the appointment, Samit Guha, managing director and ceo, MMTC-PAMP, said, “I am pleased to welcome Gaurav as the head of marketing at MMTC-PAMP. He is a seasoned marketing professional who brings a wealth of experience with him. During his career, he has successfully led complex integrated marketing campaigns and has demonstrated success in scaling digital-first brands. We are confident that his leadership will add significant value to our organization.” Guha highlighted Nijhawan’s background in managing cross-functional teams and his exposure to both traditional and digital marketing environments as key strengths.

Nijhawan brings over 15 years of experience across fintech, BFSI, FMCG, consulting and technology sectors. Over the course of his career, he has worked with organisations including IndusInd Bank, Stashfin, Citi, Carlsberg and Ernst & Young. His professional experience spans brand strategy, performance marketing, customer acquisition and digital transformation, giving him a broad perspective on building and scaling consumer-facing businesses.

In previous roles, Nijhawan has been involved in leading integrated marketing initiatives that combined brand-led storytelling with data-driven execution. His experience includes working with digital-first brands as well as established organisations, enabling him to navigate both growth-stage and mature business environments. At MMTC-PAMP, this experience is expected to support the brand’s efforts to strengthen consumer trust, improve customer experience and expand product offerings.

Speaking on his appointment, Nijhawan said, “I am thrilled to join MMTC-PAMP, a brand that has set benchmarks in purity, trust, and craftsmanship. As we continue shaping an iconic brand, I look forward to strengthening our culture of excellence, enhancing our brand-building efforts, and crafting compelling storytelling that unlocks new opportunities for growth and deeper consumer engagement.” His focus will include aligning marketing initiatives with business priorities while maintaining consistency across touchpoints.
