The chief minister of Maharashtra believes that there was an overreaction on the song

MMGB: 'The song should have been taken sportingly': Devendra Fadnavis on Red FM 'Pothole mix'
Devendra Fadnavis, chief minister, Maharashtra has looked to end the controversy regarding Red FM's 'Pothole Mix' by stating that the song was fun and should have been taken sportingly.
 
The CM stated this on-air on Red FM while he was in conversation with Malishka Mendonsa.

He also stated that he believes Mumbai is tolerant, and shouldn't overreact. This follows calls from Shiv Sena to sue Malishka, who was the protagonist of the video. 
 
The CM's statement is definitely refreshing and it's one probably other politicians should follow. It certainly lifts the gloom from Red FM (if there was any) and this issue.
