This appointment comes as interest peaks around the 'Stranger Things' finale.

Millie Bobby Brown becomes Yas Island ambassador ahead of series finale

Millie Bobby Brown has been named the latest brand ambassador for Yas Island, aligning the entertainment destination with the global attention surrounding the upcoming Stranger Things finale on Netflix. The collaboration places Brown, known worldwide for her role as Eleven, at the centre of a pop-culture moment that connects a major streaming milestone with a regional tourism platform.

A launch film introduces Brown in a recreation of the Byers’ living room, complete with the recognisable alphabet wall. Speaking directly to viewers, she reflects on the conclusion of Stranger Things and hints at the need for a break. As the lights begin to flicker, the familiar setup shifts from nostalgic reference to brand reveal, with the illuminated letters spelling out ‘YAS’. The creative approach positions Yas Island as a destination linked to adventure, storytelling and fan culture.

Liam Findlay, chief executive of Miral Destinations, said: “We couldn’t think of a better time to welcome Millie Bobby Brown into the Yas Island family. Millie represents everything Yas Island stands for: imagination, adventure, and pure, unforgettable fun. As the world says goodbye to Eleven, we’re thrilled to say hello to Millie and to a new chapter filled with wonder, excitement, and a little bit of mystery.”

Coinciding with the ambassador announcement, Stranger Things: The Experience has opened to the public on Yas Island Abu Dhabi. The installation enables visitors to explore environments inspired by Hawkins, interact with story elements linked to the Upside Down and take part in narrative-led activities designed to replicate key moments from the series.

Additional content featuring Brown’s involvement with Yas Island will be released across the destination’s official social media channels, extending the campaign through ongoing episodic updates.
