Meridian rolls out Delhi operations

Ogilvy & Mather has announced setting up of Meridian, its full service agency, in Delhi. This will be Meridian's third office in India, being already present in Mumbai and Bangalore. Meridian in Delhi will be a 360° agency from inception. Sunil Verma, vice president, O&M Delhi, will be leading the operations of Meridian Communications as vice president.

Ogilvy & Mather has announced setting up of Meridian, its full service agency, in Delhi. This will be Meridian's third office in India, being already present in Mumbai and Bangalore. Meridian in Delhi will be a 360° agency from inception. Sunil Verma, vice president, O&M Delhi, will be leading the operations of Meridian Communications as vice president. 

Sanjay Thapar, President, O&M Delhi, (pictured) said, "Delhi is a critical and strategic market and Meridian will now be looking to go beyond traditional advertising with a team that knows how to create thought leadership campaigns and link those campaigns to concrete results."
Meridian Delhi has already added DLF Pramerica and Unitech to its client portfolio. The client portfolio of the group includes names such as Axis Bank, Arvind Mills, Dockers, Himalaya Drug Company, Optimix from the ING Group, Anand Rathi Group, ITC Personal Care and INX group's 9X and INX News.
