MediaCom Worldwide picks up Agency Network of The Year at M&M Awards 2010

MediaCom Worldwide was declared Agency Network of The Year at the Media & Marketing Awards held on Thursday, 9 September, 2010, at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. The agency also picked up awards for Best Campaign for Reaching Business & Political Decisions (Dell Heroes, won by MediaCom India), Best International Communication Strategy and The Effectiveness Award (Gillette Mach 3 'Women Against Lazy Stubble', also won by MediaCom India), Best International Corporate Branding / CSR Campaign ('Shell helps drivers save fuel', MediaCom International) and The International Targeting Award ('Battlefield Bad Company 2 Launch', MediaCom International).

The other winners included BBR/ Saatchi & Saatchi (Best Nation/Place Branding Campaign - 'Kosovo - The Young Europeans'); Mindshare (Best Campaign Reaching High Net Worth Individuals, HSBC Private Bank 'Opening Doors'); PHD Spain (Best International Launch Campaign, 'Say NO to Winter Blues'); Starcom Dubai (Best Use of Content, 'Confessions of Corporate Spies'); ZenithOptimedia International (Best Use of Digital, 'Puma Hardchorus'); The Economist Group (Best Contribution to an International Campaign by a Media Owner, 'Philips Health & Wellbeing').

Starcom Dubai won Campaign of The Year for 'Confessions of Corporate Spies' and Ines Van Gennip, head of brand marketing at Samsung Electronics Europe, won International Marketer of the Year.

According to a note on the awards website, "The M&M Awards recognise and celebrate leading multi-market advertising campaigns, the most innovative and effective work and the finest co-ordination of multi-local advertising strategies."
