Madison’s Platinum Media bags Lafarge Cement

Platinum Media, a part of Madison Media Group, has won the media duties of building materials maker Lafarge India, following a multi-agency pitch. The account will be handled by Platinum Media’s Kolkata office.

Havas was the incumbent. The creative agency is Rediffusion YR.

France-headquartered Lafarge has been in the Indian market for close to 15 years and is into cement, aggregates and concrete. Globally, it is present in 64 countries, according to its corporate website.

Aniruddha Sinha, AVP, Lafarge India, said, “Madison Media has extensive understanding of the Indian media scenario and their approach and innovative media solutions will enable us to drive impactful media presence across our audience segments.”

Basabdatta Chowdhuri, CEO, Platinum Media, added, “We are delighted with this new win and are confident that we can add strategic value in making the Lafarge brand a household name across the country.”
