Madison Turnt appoints Prateek Roy as associate vice president

Madison Turnt, the experiential marketing unit of Madison World, has appointed Prateek Roy as associate vice president to lead its cinema, sponsorship and non-traditional media business. Roy will report to Sunny Vohra, CEO of Madison Turnt and Anugrah Madison.

Roy brings extensive experience in brand strategy across radio, television, digital, esports, gaming, AI and tech-led media environments. His career includes roles at Radio City, Disney Star, Sony Pictures Network and Zee Media, as well as leadership positions in digital-first companies such as ShareChat/Moj and Scoopwhoop. Across these roles, he has developed commercial partnerships with senior decision makers and contributed to initiatives that integrated traditional and emerging platforms.

He holds an MBA in advertising and communication from SIMC Pune and a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Jadavpur University. His combination of strategic thinking, storytelling ability and revenue-focused leadership is expected to support Madison Turnt’s growth priorities.

Vohra welcomed the appointment, noting that Roy’s cross-platform expertise and understanding of new-age media will strengthen the agency’s leadership. He said Roy’s perspective would be valuable as the agency expands its role within experiential marketing.

Roy said he was excited to join Madison World at a time when the industry is evolving rapidly. He highlighted opportunities in cinema advertising, experiential marketing and live entertainment as areas where brands can build deeper engagement. He added that he looks forward to working with clients, partners and internal teams to develop solutions that balance innovation, creativity and measurable outcomes, and expressed appreciation to Ajit Varghese and Vohra for their support.

Madison Turnt is part of Madison World, a communication network established in 1988. The group operates several OOH and specialist agencies including Platinum Outdoor, MOMS, Anugrah Madison and MRP, and its 11 units collectively served around 500 advertisers last year. Madison Turnt manages experiential mandates for brands such as Parle Agro, Caltex, Pepsico, Pidilite and Vivo.
