Laqshya Media Group launches Laqshya StoryWorks for original content

Laqshya Media Group (LMG) has launched Laqshya StoryWorks, a dedicated content vertical aimed at developing original fiction and non-fiction IPs, multi-platform branded content and AI-driven narratives. The studio strengthens LMG’s integrated marketing proposition by offering end-to-end conceptualisation, production and distribution of entertainment and infotainment content tailored for digital audiences. Ravi Kudesia has been appointed vice president and business head of the division.

The launch aligns with growing demand for immersive storytelling and signals LMG’s intent to expand beyond traditional advertising formats. The new unit will produce long-form series, short-format digital content, branded entertainment and experiential storytelling for OTT platforms, social media, broadcast environments and on-ground events. AI tools will support scalability, personalisation and production efficiency.

Alok Jalan, chairman and managing director, Laqshya Media Group, said the opportunity at the intersection of content, technology and branding continues to expand. He noted that Laqshya StoryWorks gives the Group a creative engine capable of developing multi-format content that helps brands engage consumers in new ways. Jalan added that the studio advances LMG’s vision of using creativity and innovation to deliver measurable brand impact.

The move enhances LMG’s existing portfolio across OOH, DOOH, digital marketing, experiential and brand tech. By creating proprietary IPs and long-term branded entertainment properties, the studio is expected to unlock additional revenue streams and bolster the Group’s position in the content ecosystem.

Kudesia brings more than 25 years of media experience across television, digital, print and radio. His earlier roles include head of special projects and branded content at ABP Network, where he worked on properties such as the Ideas of India Summit and Roots & Rhythm, and leadership positions at Times Television Network, where he led initiatives including the Maruti Suzuki Road Safety Index. Jalan said Kudesia’s experience in both branded content and partnerships will help scale the vertical effectively.

Kudesia will report to Atul Shrivastava, director and ceo, Laqshya Media Group, and will assemble a specialised team across creative, production, technology and sales. Several projects are already in development and will be announced shortly.
