Laadli Art Gallery invites 'Founding Angels'

Laadli, an initiative by NGO Population First working against sex selection and gender imbalance, is creating an online art gallery to raise funds and further awareness on the issue.

Laadli is inviting a hundred ‘Founding Angels’ to support the launch of the gallery, with a contribution of Rs 5,000 each.

Once up, the online gallery will showcase works of art by school-going girls, for a nominal fee of Rs 100 each. Funds raised will help create a beautiful life for every Laadli.

Laadli is also inviting the first 100 ‘Founding Angels’ to send in their Laadli’s piece of art, to be showcased when the gallery goes live – on 11 October, declared by the United Nations as the International Day of the Girl Child. In case you aren’t blessed with a girl child or she's not in school, you could nominate a Laadli and her work of art for the gallery.
