Komli Media promotes Prashant Mehta to CEO

Komli Media has announced the elevation of Prashant Mehta from chief operating officer to become chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors. Amar Goel, previously chief executive officer and chairman, will continue in his role as chairman of the board. In his new role, Mehta will lead all operational, financial and strategic areas of the business globally. In addition, the company also announced it is opening a new Engineering Center in Bangalore.

His strong leadership skills, industry experience and business acumen have helped Komli Media expand aggressively in the last two years. Mehta was appointed as the chief operating officer of Komli Media in December 2008, and was responsible for sales, marketing, business development, and operations. During his tenure, he also led Komli Media’s acquisitions of PostClick (Australia) and Indoor Media (United Kingdom) in 2010. Prior to joining Komli Media, Mehta was the vice president and head of monetization for Yahoo!’s 'Emerging Markets Group' which included India, South East Asia, Middle East & Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America. Mehta was responsible for sales, business and publisher development, sales operations and advertising platforms across the region.
