JWT India wins creative duties for Sun Group's IPL team

JWT India has been brought on board by the Sun Group to handle the launch communication package for its venture into the Indian Premier League. The package would include developing a new identity for the team including jersey colours and a 360-degree multimedia campaign. There was no pitch process involved.

JWT's Chennai office will handle the account. The Sun Group made its foray into the Indian Premier League when its picked up the Hyderabad franchise in October 2012 for a period of five years. It is understood to be on the lookout for talent to run the IPL franchise.
