Jeswani, Shoor, Pathak and Birdy given new roles at Ogilvy

Board of directors also expanded to take in four new members

Jeswani, Shoor, Pathak and Birdy given new roles at Ogilvy
Kunal Jeswani has been elevated to the position of CEO at Ogilvy & Mather India in a series of top level changes at the agency. Prior to this Jeswani was chief digital officer at the Ogilvy India group. Jeswani will report directly to Piyush Pandey, executive chairman and creative director – South Asia and S N Rane, executive co-chairman and group chief operating officer – South Asia. 
 
Further, Hephzibah Pathak has also received an elevated role, that of, global clients’ director, Ogilvy & Mather India. Pathak was president of the agency's Mumbai office.
 
Kawal Shoor has also been elevated at the agency. He is now national planning director, Ogilvy & Mather India. Prior to this he headed planning at the Mumbai office. 
 
Additionally, Hufrish Birdy has been promoted to CFO, Ogilvy & Mather India. Prior to this she was executive finance director at the agency.  
 
All the changes will be effective 1 March 2015. 
 
The existing India Board comprising of Piyush Pandey, SN Rane, Madhukar Sabnavis, Poran Malani, Hephzibah Pathak, Miles Young, Paul Heath, Paul Cocks and John Goodman has also been expanded. Ogilvy has nominated the following people as additional directors which will be effective as soon as the legal compliances are completed:
 
  • Kunal Jeswani 
  • Rajiv Rao (national creative director)
  • Navin Talreja (president, Mumbai and Kolkata, Ogilvy India)
  • Hulfrish Birdy
