Jajabor Brand Consultancy (JBC) has announced its role as India implementation partner for the German Indian Innovation Corridor (GIIC), strengthening Indo-European collaboration through a structured programme of engagements across India and Europe in 2026. The partnership follows the outcomes of the 2025 summit in Berlin and aims to build sustained innovation linkages between business, government and academic ecosystems.
The collaboration is positioned within a broader context of evolving global trade and innovation dynamics, where partnerships are increasingly focused on co-creation rather than transactional exchange. With India–Europe trade currently at approximately USD 136 billion and expected to expand further, the emphasis is shifting towards joint development in areas such as artificial intelligence, industrial deep tech and sustainable systems.
GIIC operates as a cross-border innovation architecture connecting enterprises, startups, investors, policymakers and research institutions across Germany and India. Through curated summits, executive delegations and sector-specific programmes, the platform enables market access, facilitates cross-border research and development, and supports structured policy dialogue. The 2026 engagements in Bengaluru, New Delhi and Berlin are designed to deepen these interactions and convert dialogue into actionable partnerships.
The strength of the platform was demonstrated at the German Indian Innovation Summit 2025 in Berlin, which convened over 300 leaders and more than 220 organisations across business, government and academia. Participants included global enterprises such as Siemens, Bosch, DHL Group and Maruti Suzuki, alongside policymakers and ecosystem leaders. The summit resulted in the launch of five cross-border initiatives, including the German Indian Open Innovation Initiative and the Democratic AI Framework, aimed at promoting ethical and inclusive innovation systems.
As India implementation partner, Jajabor Brand Consultancy will be responsible for shaping the strategic narrative of the GIIC platform, strengthening stakeholder engagement across India’s innovation ecosystem, and enhancing visibility for cross-border collaborations. The mandate also includes sponsorship development, brand positioning and ecosystem storytelling to support long-term engagement between stakeholders.
The role reflects an increasing emphasis on ‘innovation diplomacy’, where communication strategy is used to align diverse stakeholders across geographies and sectors. By focusing on narrative-building alongside ecosystem facilitation, JBC aims to support GIIC in translating strategic intent into structured outcomes.
Upasna Dash, founder and ceo, said, “As global partnerships evolve, what matters is the ability to translate intent into action and build pathways that enable real collaboration. At Jajabor, we work closely with startups and emerging ecosystems as a growth partner, helping them scale through the right market access, partnerships, and positioning. Our partnership with GIIC builds on this approach, bringing together stakeholders across India and Europe to drive tangible outcomes and long-term value creation. Over the past year, we’ve seen how focused ecosystem-building can unlock meaningful milestones, and this collaboration is a step towards scaling that impact globally.”
Siddharth Bhasin, managing director of GIIC, added, “Germany and India are not under-trading, they are under-building together. Over the past year, our collaboration with Jajabor Brand Consultancy has helped strengthen the corridor’s presence in India by enabling deeper ecosystem access, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder alignment. As we expand into the next phase across India and Berlin, this partnership will play a critical role in translating high-level intent into execution — bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, investors, and innovators to co-create solutions across AI, mobility, deep tech, and sustainable systems, and unlock long-term shared value for both regions.”
The 2026 engagement calendar will include summits in Bengaluru and New Delhi, co-hosted with institutions such as NSRCEL and IvyCap Ventures, along with closed-door B2B meetings and policy forums. The Berlin summit will continue to serve as a global convergence point for Indo-European stakeholders, reinforcing long-term collaboration in innovation-led sectors.
