Gutenberg elevates Amardeep Singh to co-founder and president to drive AI growth

Gutenberg has announced the promotion of Amardeep Singh to co-founder and president, a move intended to advance its AI-driven marketing strategy for global brands. The appointment reflects the agency’s focus on supporting enterprise marketing teams as they navigate the shift from traditional models to AI-enabled, measurable marketing operations.

Amardeep’s elevation comes amid industry-wide restructuring as AI reshapes agency capabilities and workflows. Despite the momentum around AI adoption, a McKinsey report indicates that 68 percent of marketing and sales teams do not use AI agents, and only 6 percent have reached a scaling phase. Gutenberg positions itself as an early mover with a Human + AI model designed to help brands transition from early experimentation to scaled impact.

Since joining the agency in 2007, Amardeep has contributed to its expansion as an integrated marketing firm operating across seven countries. Harjiv Singh, founder and chief executive officer of Gutenberg, said Amardeep has led the agency’s transformation into a fully AI-ready organisation over the past two years. Singh noted that Amardeep’s focus on Human + AI integration allows Gutenberg to support clients seeking faster, more agile marketing solutions while balancing creative oversight with operational efficiency.

Gutenberg’s Human-in-the-Loop framework combines human-led strategy with AI-powered workflows, a method advocated by experts such as Dr. Ethan Mollick of The Wharton School. The approach aims to retain creative quality while enabling higher velocity and more personalised marketing outputs.

Commenting on his appointment, Amardeep said he is honoured to step into the role at a pivotal time for the industry. He highlighted the agency’s shift toward AI-enabled marketing ecosystems and expressed intent to support chief marketing officers in developing intelligent and performance-focused marketing engines.

Gutenberg’s evolution over two decades, supported by more than 75 global awards and recognition as a Great Place to Work, sets the foundation for its next phase of AI-enabled growth under Amardeep’s leadership.
