Google admits failure with Wave as it ceases development

Google is calling time on Google Wave, the product that was meant to reinvent email, with no further development taking place and the product likely to disappear early next year.Google Wave launched amid a clamour for "real time" internet services last September. Users were desperate to get hold of invites to join the service and developers creating a raft of apps.
