Goafest 2016: JWT adds 30 metals, takes 47 Creative Abbys with 5 Golds; Publicis wins Best in Film Category, 4 Golds

Goafest 2016: JWT adds 30 metals, takes 47 Creative Abbys with 5 Golds; Publicis wins Best in Film Category, 4 Golds
J. Walter Thompson ended its campaign at the Creative Abbys of Goafest 2016 with 47 metals including five Golds. The agency added 30 metals to its tally from day two. 
 
On the third day of the festival, the agency bagged two Gold, 10 Silver and 18 Bronze Abbys. The Gold wins were for ‘Fountain of Sight’ for Eye Bank Co-ordination and Research Centre in the ‘Ambient Media’ category, and ‘Question, Kidding, Old Fashioned’ for Gender Violence in the Young Abby category.
 
Publicis Communications bagged the ‘Best of Category’ for its entry ‘A Giant’s Story’ for Ambuja Cements in the ‘Film Single’ category, besides ending with four Gold Abbys this year.
 
The agency added three Golds, four Silver and three Bronze metals on the last night, to end with 13 wins at Goafest 2016. Two of the Gold wins were for ‘A Giant’s Story’  in the ‘Film Single’ and ‘Integrated’ categories, and one was for ‘Nerolac Calendar’ for Nerolac Impressions in the Design category.
 
Sarva Integrated Colombo bagged the ‘Best of South Asia’ title in the Public Relations category for work on Mawbina Vesak Lanterns.
 
DDB Mudra added 18 metals to its tally from day two, which included three Gold, taking its total metal haul to 23. The two Gold wins were for the ‘Ode to the bug’ for Volkswagen in the ‘Film Single’ and ‘Digital’ categories. The other win was for ‘Paheli Ki Saheli’ for UNICEF in the ‘Film Single Category’. The agency also won three Silvers and 12 Bronze metals.
 
Dentsu Creative Impact added 10 metals to its 13 metals from day two, including one Gold. The Gold win was for ‘Soccer’ for Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India in the ‘Print Single’ category. The agency also won a Silver and eight Bronze Abbys on the last day of Goafest 2016.
 
Contract Advertising added 10 metals to its 16-metal haul from day two. On the last day's awards gala, it bagged a Gold, four Silver and six Bronze Abbys. The Gold win was for the campaign for CCTV Camera in the ‘Print Single’ category.
 
Alok Nanda added seven metals to its one Bronze win from day two. The haul consisted of a Gold, three Silver and three Bronze. The Gold win was for ‘Painful People’ for Filter Press in the ‘Design’ category.
 
Early Man Films bagged six metals - a Gold, three Silver and two Bronze. The Gold win was for ‘Ambuja Khali 75’ for Ambuja Cement in the ‘Film Craft’ category.
 
McCann Worldgroup bagged a Gold, three Silver and a Bronze Abby on the night. The Gold win was for ‘French Horn’ for Dabur Gastrina in the ‘Design Category’. 
 
Out of the Box added a Gold, two Silver and seven Bronze Abbys to its two-metal haul from day two. The Gold win was for ‘The Prodigies of Mother’s Pride’ for Mother’s Pride in the ‘Design’ category.
 
RK Swamy BBDO added a Gold and a Bronze to its one metal from day two. The Gold win was for the entry ‘Help the farmer’ forskymetweather.com in the ‘Digital’ category.
 
Experience Commerce bagged a Gold for the ‘#Pitchtoher’ entry for Lenovo in the ‘Digital’ category.
 
Hectic Content bagged one Gold for ‘The Calling’ for Anouk in the Special Category of ‘Gender Sensitive Advertising’.
