OS Studios, a Project Worldwide agency renowned for creating world-class fan experiences for global brands like Pokémon, Call of Duty, NBA, and Major League Soccer, has officially launched its India operations. The agency will operate full-service offices in Bangalore, New Delhi, and Mumbai, supported by sister agency George P Johnson India and the wider Project Worldwide network.
Targeting India’s rapidly growing gaming and esports market, OS Studios aims to bridge the “Experience Gap” — a disparity between the scale of investments in tournaments and activations, and the quality of fan experiences, which often suffer from poor broadcast production, inauthentic partnerships, and uninspiring live events.
Leveraging its proprietary Fan Z Operating System, the agency offers an end-to-end ecosystem encompassing Strategy, Broadcast & Streaming, Experiential Marketing, and Content. This approach has been applied globally at events such as the Pokémon World Championships, and for leading publishers and brands including Activision, MLS, NBA, and Twitch.
John Higgins, CEO of OS Studios, said, “The passion of the Indian gaming community is undeniable, and it represents a massive opportunity for brands to build lifelong loyalty. We are fully committed to this market and are thrilled to bring our global 'Fan Z' playbook to India.”
Rasheed Sait, Chief Growth Officer, Project Worldwide India/South Asia, added, “India is one of the fastest-growing gaming markets, but fan experiences have not kept pace with the investment. OS Studios is here to bring world-class, authentic experiences that Indian fans and brands deserve.”
The Indian operations will be led on the ground by Nrupen Gutta, Strategic Partnerships and Creator Lead, and Yadush Bose, Director Growth & Client Success. OS Studios India is already fully operational and in strategic discussions with multiple leading brands and game publishers to elevate the gaming and esports ecosystem.
