Replaces Nitin Kukreja who left Star India in March this year

Gautam Thakar to join Star Sports as CEO
Star India has announced the appointment of Gautam Thakar as CEO for Star Sports. Thakar's role is effective January 2018. 
 
He moves back to India after a stint in the US where he was most recently working with Revolution LLC. Thakar replaces Nitin Kukreja who left Star India in March this year.

Thakar started his career as a brand manager with P&G in India. He has also worked with eBay and LivingSocial.
