Four Indians make it to Adfest 2010 jury

Adfest 2010 has announced the jury for this year’s festival. Four Indians have made it to the jury.

Ravi Deshpande, chief creative officer, Contract Advertising is the jury president for Direct category. He is also a jury member for 360 Lotus, Innova and Lotus.

Anil Thomas, creative director, McCann Erickson Bangalore is a jury member for Film and Radio. Kurnal Rawat, design director, Grandmother India Design, Mumbai is a jury member for Design and Print Craft. Sabyasachi Sengupta, director, Gingerwater Films, Mumbai is a jury member for Film Craft and New Director Lotus.

Speaking about the expectations in terms of quality of entries this year, McCann’s Thomas said, “The execution and the perspective of the idea are the two most important things. A film that surprises you and where the benefit has been conveyed is good. A radio spot is good if it grabs you and you are forced to listen to it. There is no formula to this. It is just about how convincing it is.”

The awards will be held on 18-20 March in Pattaya, Thailand.
