Excellent Publicity marked its 14th anniversary on 1 November 2025 with an unconventional celebration, appointing a 14-year-old as CEO for a day. The initiative, themed around curiosity and courage, reflected the company’s belief that innovation comes from fresh perspectives, regardless of age.
After over a decade as one of India’s prominent media and advertising agencies, Excellent Publicity announced its transformation into an ad-tech platform. The shift aims to redefine how brands and advertisers plan, book, and measure campaigns across multiple mediums.
Co-founder Vaishal Dalal said that at 14, the company is not getting older but bolder. He noted that the transition into an ad-tech ecosystem reflects its long-term vision to modernise and simplify advertising for a diverse range of clients.
In a move inspired by the film Nayak, the young CEO, Yug Parikh, spent the day with the leadership team brainstorming strategies to help brands connect with Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences. Parikh said the experience demonstrated that impactful ideas come from imagination and courage rather than age, adding that curiosity remains key to creative growth.
Building on this milestone, Excellent Publicity also introduced the Student Entrepreneurship Programme — a learning initiative comprising courses, webinars, and workshops aimed at guiding university students and aspiring entrepreneurs through the wider advertising ecosystem. The programme emphasises that marketing extends beyond digital, encompassing areas such as sports, entertainment, outdoor, and non-traditional media.
Through practical exposure and real-world case studies, students will gain a holistic understanding of advertising. As the company enters its 15th year, Excellent Publicity positions itself as 14 years young — ready for reinvention and growth.
