Engineers India scouts for creative partners

Engineers India Limited (EIL), a Government of India undertaking, has invited expressions of interest from advertising agencies for executing branding and non-branding communications jobs.

Campaign understands from sources that the pitch is currently underway in New Delhi, with the upper limit for empanelment being five agencies. Sources also tell Campaign the participation process has been initiated through online bids only, and one of the key eligibility criterias for agencies is to have at least five publicly-listed companies as clients.

Campaign understands that the selected agencies will be appointed for a period of two years, with the mandate to handle display advertisements and public awareness advertisements, alongside designing and printing of various publications including the company’s annual report, in-house journal and corporate brochures. The empanelment is being done for the EIL corporate office in New Delhi and regional offices at Vadodara, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.

Established in 1965, Engineers India Ltd is a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), one of the prominent design and engineering organisations in South Asia. It provides engineering consultancy and EPC services principally focused on the oil & gas and petrochemical industries. The company has diversified into sectors like infrastructure, water and waste management, solar & nuclear power and fertilisers to leverage its strong technical competencies and track record. It also provides specialist services such as heat and mass transfer equipment design, environmental engineering, specialist materials & maintenance and plant operations and safety services.
