Emvies 2019: Mindshare, HUL win top honours

Mediacom, WATConsult win 'Grand Emvie'

Emvies 2019: Mindshare, HUL win top honours
Mindshare India bagged the 'client of the year' at The Advertising Club's Emvies 2019. The agency bagged five Gold, 19 Silver and 15 Bronze metals to end with a tally of 340 points.
 
The Gold wins came for 'Ikea says 'Hej' India in Style', 'Brooke Bond Red Label: Making India more inclusive, one cup at a time', 'Brooke Bond Red Label: India's first Isspeshal band', 'Horlicks engagement in a media dark market, 81 per cent delivered' and 'Kingfisher - make your own beer'.
 
Hindustan Unilever picked up the client of the year accolade with a total of 195 points (two Gold, 11 Silver, 11 Bronze). 
 
Last year's agency of the year, Wavemaker finished second with 310 points. The agency was the most awarded Gold winner on the night with 12. 
 
Four of the Gold wins came for work done on Vodafone. The entry 'one swipe to a new regime' for L'Oreal won two Golds as did work done for Netflix.
 
Other Gold wins came for Cadbury Perk, Colgate, Savlon and Eureka Forbes. 
 
Two Grand Emvies were won on the night - one each by Mediacom and WATConsult. 
 
Mediacom's win came for Ariel's 'Son's #ShareTheLoad' while WATConsult's win was for 'Mind your language' for Racold. 
 
Initiative finished third on the metal tally with seven Gold, a Silver and four Bronze metals. 
 
WATConsult (two), Madison, Essence and Street Talk also won Gold on the night.
