Eid Mubarak: Some campaigns that stood out
The holy month of Ramadan comes to an end later today, with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

Brands are celebrating the festival with campaigns. Here are some that stood out.

Bata

Bata's campaign conceptualised by Contract Advertising is set in an office where all the employees are avoiding food and beverages in front of a colleague who was observing Ramadan.

Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance

The film shows a story of a girl observing roza (fast) for the first time.

Ghadi Detergent

Ghadi rolled out an extension of its #SaareMaelDhoDaalo campaign conceptualised by ADK Fortune. It shows a mother-in-law who is truly touched by her son-in-law’s efforts in helping her daughter with daily chores. Back home, the same lending of a helping hand by her son to his wife is labelled as being ‘tied to wife’s apron strings’ until her husband points out the flaw in her judgment.

Max Fashion

Max Fashion showcased the spirit of Ramadan by celebrating togetherness. It shows how the festival is for everyone through a story of a Hindu and Muslim family celebrating. The film was conceptualised by Wunderman Thompson (Bengaluru).

Reliance Trends

In this film conceptualised by Brave New World, a story of a mother and her daughter is shown. The young girl notices how her mother carries out all her duties during Ramadan and breaks her own 'Eid fund' to gift her a piece of clothing.

Almosafer

In Saudi Arabia, Almosafer, a travel brand shows a story of a child travelling abroad, carrying the spirit of Ramadan to a place that has not experienced Ramadan. FP7 Riyadh and Dubai worked on this campaign.
